Maduro inaugurates headquarters of the PNB police service academy

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, inaugurated this Friday the police service academy of the Bolivarian National Police, located at kilometer 23 of the El Junquito parish in Caracas.

Maduro highlighted that in this new headquarters the best professionals will be trained, with an educational model that integrates values ​​of discipline, ethics, vocation for service and defense of citizen peace.

“We come to deliver as a package the very new academy of the Bolivarian National Police as part of the system of the National Experimental University of Security of Unes,” he expressed.

During the tour accompanied by the sector vice president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, the head of state highlighted the rehabilitation work at the site. “Wonderful is the recovery of this very special place where the best police professionals in this world, on this planet Earth, will be trained.”

Maduro stressed that police professionals must be trained and forged in excellence, constantly preparing to defend the citizen, “the Venezuelan.”

He pointed out that “this academy and this university will be valued in the world to form, in a new social and police model, the future security of many societies that are suffering from the anti-values ​​of consumer capitalism that has penetrated them to the bone and are subjected to insecurity and criminal gangs. “Venezuela has taken great steps to overcome those elements that we live and suffer.”

The dignitary highlighted that the PNB Police Service Academy constitutes a true permanent and multidimensional offensive, which must be studied and understood in the geopolitical and comprehensive doctrine and training classes that students receive.

Likewise, he reported that for now the academy’s enrollment may reach up to 360 students, who will be trained in a boarding school with all the necessary conditions to receive a total of 7,568 academic hours.

In this context, he detailed how the curricular composition will be organized.

For his part, the also Minister of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, explained that this academy will serve for the comprehensive training of the police officials that Venezuela has taken care to train, to have and for this, all the mechanisms that education allows are used, such as the classroom, in person, on the street, working in the laboratory and in simulators.

He assured that the officials will be provided with high-quality academic training, which guarantees their excellence in service.

«This is a leap forward because here, for example, we are going to train the Cicpc police officers, those of the scientific police, we are going to train those of the national police, the firefighters, everyone will pass through here. “Everyone is going to pass through here,” Cabello explained.

Likewise, Cabello presented part of the new uniform made for the Bolivarian National Police, made in Venezuela, by Venezuelan talent.

Cabello highlighted that in the face of the various difficulties generated by North American imperialism, the Bolivarian Government deploys actions and “with little we are doing a lot as you have given the instruction.”

Cabello showed the head of state the uniforms that “we made, we are also making the boots.”

«These are uniforms that are given to each student, made by Venezuelan women, Venezuelan men who are seamstresses and they help us. Well-made uniforms,” he highlighted.

The sample included military caps, shirts, pants, flannels, boots, among other items of clothing. “We are doing an experiment with firefighter uniforms, we manufacture them, we buy the material and we manufacture them,” he said.

On the other hand, the rector of the National Experimental University of Security (Unes), Fabio Zavarse, explained that the students will be trained in 4 years, 8 semesters per year, receiving a quality university education, 7,500 hours of academic training.

In this regard, the national leader urged the students of the PNB Police Service Academy to develop themselves morally and professionally in law enforcement, contributing to the strengthening of a new State: humanist, communal and socialist.

He stressed the importance of future police officers being trained in the values ​​of building a police force at the service of a new society, free from the vices and anti-values ​​of consumer capitalism coming from the north and the west.

The first lady of the Republic, Cilia Flores, congratulated the students of the PNB Police Service Academy, highlighting that they will become the best officials, prepared to defend the citizens and protect the Homeland.

Likewise, he stressed that future police officers will have all the necessary inputs and tools to fulfill their mission, reaffirming that the training provided at the National Experimental University of Security (Unes) guarantees an ethical, professional police force committed to the Venezuelan people.

Productive sovereignty

President Nicolás Maduro, during his greeting to the cadets and authorities present at the activity, emphasized the importance of productive sovereignty. The President was categorical when declaring: “Everything must be done in Venezuela, we have to do it in each component, in each institution.” He urged training and knowledge sharing by saying, “let’s all learn about everything.”

President Maduro linked self-sufficiency with the geopolitical vision, noting that in today’s “multipolar world,” “everything must be done in our homeland with our science and technology.” Finally, he declared this guideline as a fundamental principle: “Let us never depend on anyone for anything, that is a normal Bolivarian, Sucrista, Urdanetista order, it is a Chavista order that I am giving for all institutions and all bodies.”
