Maduro inaugurates headquarters of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, accompanied by the First Combatant, Cilia Flores, toured the headquarters of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission, located on Avenida Andrés Bello in Caracas, where they were received by Génesis Garvet, president of this organization dedicated to caring for Venezuelan youth.

The headquarters of the Great Mission has space for recording content for social networks and a radio studio, as well as an amphitheater for classes, workshops and courses, reported the head of the Great Mission, Genesis Garvett.

“In these spaces, young people can do theater, dance, there are green areas, special spaces so that young people can have fun in a healthy way,” said the First Combatant.

It is a Great Mission created to fulfill one of the most important roles for Venezuelan youth.

“Make the most of these spaces. Be ready with spiritual strength, love and truth; fascism will not conquer the dreams of youth. Hatred will not conquer love. This is a battle of values, the rescue of our identity versus the values that social networks try to impose,” said the Head of State.

Venezuela is the jewel in the crown of the world, against fascism, against lies and anti-values that try to be placed in children and young people to sow hatred, which is difficult to heal.

“Who knows more than the youth about the attacks that come from social media? We are facing monsters, in a battle between national values, our identity, the values of the future and the satanic anti-values that Elon Musk and company want to impose on us,” he said.

“They thought they could defeat us, they invested thousands of dollars in the cognitive war, and 22 years later, this generation has defeated the networks again. We triumphed in building the country and developing plans for the future,” he added.

“There are fascists who seek out the youth to destroy, and we seek them out to build values and a future. The film is clear, isn’t it? We are going to seek out the youth, to teach them to love their values, their land and their country.”

Venezuela Joven was created to integrate young people with its 7 Vertices in healthy activities, for culture, for creation, for education. “Let them not imitate anti-values!”

Maduro recalled the seven vertices of this great mission:

    • Education
    • Work and entrepreneurship
    • Culture, recreation and partying
    • Health, physical activity and sport
    • Life projects and social protection
    • Communication and social networks
    • Organization and participation.

He insisted to the young people that the WhatsApp application is in the hands of technological imperialism and is an enemy of humanity, highlighting the cognitive war of social networks.

“Get out of my life, WhatsApp,” he stressed, and asked young people to take to the streets, in high schools and universities,

France and Germany banned the use of this application by their public officials, “and the US did the same with TikTok, which favours fascism,” he stressed.

    Towards the National Youth Congress

He invited the youth to carry out a day of visits and interactive assemblies, both physical and digital, for 5 weeks, starting on Monday, August 19, to hold debates of ideas with all Venezuelan youth and thus execute a National Congress of Venezuelan Youth to define the lines of the 7T of youth, on September 27 and 28.

“We are not calling on young people to destroy, but to debate ideas,” said the President.

He also invited young people to participate in the creation of a Leadership School.

“We will form a team for the School of Leadership and Youth Participation. A School of Values and Comprehensive Training,” he said.

He also reported that the “Let’s Get Active” plan will be activated in the 4,000 communal circuits, with the help of the GMVJ to form the Base Youth Committees in each circuit.
