The candidate for re-election for the Gran Polo Patriótico (GPP), Nicolás Maduro, stated that after traveling the country to the four cardinal points, he is sure that he will win the presidential elections and specified that “the surnames are the guarimbas,” while he represents peace.
This was stated from the city of San Carlos in the state of Cojedes, where a crowd gathered to give him their support.
“Come on, come on, Nico, come on, come on, friend, you don’t walk alone because the people are with you,” was how they chanted to the candidate for reelection, who said he felt the most immense love for the people of Cojedé.
Accompanied on stage by traditional singers and musical groups, Maduro listened to the songs dedicated to him, emphasizing that he is the “gallo pinto” (a kind of “gallo pinto”) and the candidate of the empire is a “pataruco” (a kind of “pataruco”).
He said, “I am a man of the people, my school is the people, my university is the factories.”
“Cojedes has already made the decision, I know, in the street, in the neighborhood, the community, on the corner,” he said before the crowd that applauded him.
He warned that he has no “pimps or pimps who order me around, I have never been a puppet or a puppet of anyone, I am and have been an independent, sovereign president, I only answer to two powers, in heaven to the power of God and here on earth I only obey the sovereign people of Venezuela, I come from you and I owe myself to you,” he emphasized.
He recalled that they have tried to kill him more than a hundred times, but that he is prepared and standing to continue fighting for Venezuela.
“I have been facing surnames since I was 12 years old, I know them, they are the racist, classist extreme right who believe themselves to be the owners of Venezuela because of their surnames,” he said, indicating that he is not of “blue blood, but rather red blood, of homeland and humanity.”
He added that Venezuela will decide whether to fall into a dark hole of capitalism or follow a prosperous future.
“Does Cojedes want to see a puppet with the surnames of Caracas?” to which the answer was no.
Maduro said that Chavez and the people saved Venezuela from many and that the right is going to cry fraud.
“I tell you from San Carlos de Cojedes, I know your plans, lie as much as you want, do whatever you want, but peace will triumph in Venezuela and you will not be able to tarnish the electoral process,” he exclaimed.
He warned that the far right will cry fraud. “No one will be able to tarnish the electoral process,” he said.
“Take note, let us not expect anything good from this racist and fascist oligarchy. Let us always expect hatred, lies and manipulation from them,” he said.
He warned that “if the extremist right dares” they will regret it for 200 years.
“I am the embodiment of unity, a civic-military policeman, and I guarantee the beloved and noble people of Venezuela that they will fail, they will not return, if they dare, it will be the last mistake they make to harm the people, enough of conspiracies of violence, of manipulation,” he said.
Maduro said that at 10 pm when the results are known on Sunday, July 28, they will say a prayer for Commander Chavez. “We will say Commander, on your 70th birthday, this people did not fail you, we will take to the streets to celebrate in peace and with joy.”
