The President of the Republic, Nicolás MaduroHe said that he has been loyal to his oath 12 years ago, when he was chosen as head of states of the country, on “preserving the peace of Venezuela.”
“To the generous and conscious people who fulfilled Commander Chávez, I say: I have been loyal to my oath of preserving the peace of Venezuela; before each battle, onslaught and attack we have left victorious, stronger and committed to the mission we have to guarantee the maximum supreme happiness,” Maduro said in his telegram account.
A publication in which he celebrated that this Monday turns 12 years old of having been chosen as “First Chavista President in History, on a heroic day, with a popular and fair triumph”, in which he obtained 50.66% of the votes.
“We have fulfilled a truly heroic day for this people, we are victorious, with the Constitution in hand, we are going to govern this country and we will preserve democracy, peace, sovereignty and political stability, swear here in front of the balcony of the people”, words that mature pronounced that April 14, 2013, and that are present in a video that accompany the publication.
