The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, holds a meeting this Thursday with the new national leadership of the red awning, the political council and the youth of the party (JPSUV).
The meeting takes place in the open spaces of the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas, and is attended by the first vice president of the PSUV, Diosdado Cabello, mayors, governors, ministers and the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, among other members of the party. .
“It is very important that they assume all the responsibility of being members of the national leadership and the specific responsibilities assigned to them at the time in a creative, disciplined and hard way,” said the president at the beginning of the act.
On April 23, during the second plenary session of the red awning, the new national leadership of the PSUV and the Jpsuv, which is made up of 40 members, was sworn in.
The meeting began with the song Patria Nueva by the group Siembra del Tambor.
