During the First National Meeting of the Secretariat of Parliamentary Affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), deputy Nicolás Maduro Guerra sent a message of political and social cohesion. The parliamentarian stressed that, given the current situation, the central axis must be absolute support for the management of the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez.
“The president’s message is that the greatest strength is unity and that you join the front that is in command in the country, which is now comrade Delcy Rodríguez,” Maduro Guerra emphasized, calling to maintain “maximum confidence in the leadership, in national unity, whatever they say or do what the media does, there is always some lie.”
Message from President Maduro: Unity and joy
The deputy shared a message sent by the national leader, Nicolás Maduro Moros, emphasizing that his strength lies in popular cohesion. «His strength there is the unity of the people; He is morally and ethically irreducible, they could not break him nor will they succeed,” he stated.
Likewise, he highlighted the emotional and principled connection that the head of state maintains with his followers: «The first message and the last one we received to this day was trust in the people, always on the side of the people. “Let’s not let them make us bitter, let’s not let them take away our joy.”
Amnesty Law: forgiveness and dialogue
Regarding the legislative agenda and the political climate of the country, Maduro Guerra confirmed the progress towards a national reconciliation process through the institutions. “We are about to approve the Amnesty Law proposed by the acting president Delcy Rodríguez,” he announced.
In line with the recent statements of the PSUV leadership, he reflected on the need for mutual recognition of errors to move forward and to build the country that everyone wants through national reconciliation.
“As Jorge (Rodríguez) said yesterday, I ask for forgiveness and I forgive, because we have also made mistakes, but I would also like to hear others forgive us and ask for forgiveness because they have also made mistakes.” He stressed that “our vocation for peace is the path of dialogue” and urged not to be afraid of that path.
Popular consciousness and vocation for peace
Finally, the deputy recalled the events of January 3, highlighting the political maturity of the citizens and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb). «The town remained calm despite the aggression; “Nothing happened because Chávez sowed a conscience and Maduro reaped it,” he said.
He reiterated that Venezuela maintains its historical position of non-aggression. «Venezuela is a people of war, but it has not armed itself nor will it ever arm itself to attack. We are always a country of peace. “The only time our armies went out was to give independence to five countries.”
To conclude his message, he assured that the Bolivarian Revolution is the “only guarantee of peace and progress for the country,” he expressed.
Internal cohesion within the revolutionary ranks is the greatest strength in the face of political challenges. He assured that the country must move forward without distractions, by maintaining peace through dialogue and love, elements that he described as the only guarantee for national development.
It should be noted that this First National Meeting of the PSUV Parliamentary Affairs Secretariat brought together national deputies, regional legislators and councilors from 335 municipalities in the country.
Earlier, the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, joined the call for unity and strengthening ties with the people. “Our main function is to listen to the rumor of the clamor of the people of Venezuela,” indicated the head of Parliament during his speech.
