Maduro from Petare: Nobody is going to sabotage the June 28 elections

The candidate for reelection for the Gran Polo Patriótico (GPP), Nicolás Maduro, denounced this Thursday during a campaign event in the Petare roundabout, Sucre municipality of Miranda state, that the extreme right is seeking the suspension of the presidential elections scheduled for this July 28.

“They want a catastrophe and a tragedy to shout suspension of the elections and the gringos, Milei, Noboa from the right would come out to ask for the suspension of the elections,” he denounced.

In this regard, Maduro assured that there will be elections in Venezuela on July 28. “Nerves of steel, calm and sanity (…) Rain, thunder or lightning, there will be presidential elections in Venezuela on July 28 (…) Nobody is going to sabotage them,” he said.

The standard-bearer of the revolution claimed to know all the plans of the extreme right and that he has been denouncing them. He confirmed to the fascist groups and sectors that the civil-military union is more prepared than ever to defend the Homeland.

He also warned about the opposition’s plans to destabilize the country, made up of figures such as Henrique Capriles Randonski, Leopoldo López and Julio Borges. “They want the riots to return to Petare.”

“Let the world, the fascists and imperialism understand: Power in Venezuela is in the streets, it is the civic-military-police union,” he said.

He reiterated the importance of maintaining peace before, during and after the elections. “I don’t want any show or crying from the extreme right. We have to ensure the peace of the people,” he said.

On Thursday, the Bolivarian leader invited the Venezuelan people to build the future of the country.

“We are the path of the future, we are the truth of Venezuela, and we are the victory of life and peace,” said the candidate for reelection.

He stressed that the people of Venezuela have been his teachers in facing difficulties and governing in favor of everyone.

He also stressed the need for a strong president with leadership, who is not a puppet of anyone. “I have been loyal, I am not afraid of demons, strength is the power of the people. I am not a weak or cowardly president, my teacher has been Chavez, it has been the people of Venezuela. I have never left them alone; we overcame the sanctions and what is coming for the Venezuelan people are better times. We are building the best country in the world.”

Maduro said that the legacy of Commander Hugo Chavez will be present in the electoral battle on July 28. “Chávez was and is a giant,” said the Patria candidate, remembering the Commander when he walked through the streets of Petare.

He highlighted Venezuela’s spiritual, political, cultural and economic rebirth. “We are on the right side of history. We are the only ones who have a project.”

Candidate Maduro urged the people of Petare to go for the victory in the thirty-first election, on Sunday, July 28. “Do we want peace, equality, democracy, true freedom, to recover the Essequibo Guayana, an independent country that is not dragged to the gringos? Let’s win on the 28th!” he emphasized.

He stressed that the Venezuelan people have overcome all the tests and now recovery, growth, prosperity, well-being and shared happiness will come. “Better times are coming for the country,” he emphasized.

Finally, he stressed that the people must organize their 1x10x7 to continue with the guarantee of peace and achieve the great victory of the elections on July 28. “We have to organize ourselves so that on July 28 we can give the great victory to Commander Chavez for his birthday, long live Venezuela my beloved country, we will win.”
