Maduro formalizes the launch of the VenApp application: Platform for “digital government”

The Venezuelan ruler Nicholas Maduromade this friday the official launch of the VenApp applicationa platform where the regime will seek to “guarantee compliance with social and economic programs.”

During the speech, the president explained that this technological and organizational system will allow concrete and comprehensive solutions to the Venezuelan people in an immediate and timely manner.

“It’s something new, a great creation, nobody can say that they already know the results, we go with our greatest creativity, the greatest spirit of participation and patience for what we are going to activate today,” he said.

Likewise, Maduro assured that, as part of the priorities of the first stage of the 1×10 System of Good Government, public services, education and health, will be the aspects that will be strengthened in the next 60 days.

The also president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) reported that thanks to opinion polls, statistical measurements and the proposals of the different Congresses, the vulnerable areas that will be attended to immediately were prioritized.

“We are going to address the problems of water, public education and health, the recovery of outpatient clinics, the Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI) and all services (…). I am determined to put an end to the hospital mafias (…). We are also going to recover the schools and high schools, and prepare to restart the school year”, explained the Head of State.

In the same way, Maduro specified that the VenApp application “will be a direct communication mechanism with the national government (…) that will allow the formulation of complaints in real time about existing problems in the communities.”

The governor explained that through a section of the application called “line 58” any citizen will have the possibility of reporting problems with public services or the health system in the area where they reside.

The Line 58 section of Ven App includes a brief form for the public complaint based on the following information: type of report, exact date of the start of the problem and exact place where the problem occurs, as well as photos or documents that support the complaint. Once the form is completed, the user can download it in PDF format and save it for later use.

VenApp with Panama-Venezuela connection

According to the website Fake News Huntersthe application inaugurated by the Venezuelan ruler, was developed, planned or at least linked to one or several related companies, creators of other Apps used to promote the digital government of Panama and the Dominican Republic.

“The developer of VenApp is “Tech & People Solutions SRL” (according to their page on Play Store) or “Tech and People, SRL” (according to the App Store), a company registered in the Dominican Republic. The Tech and People website is offline as of March 26, 2022, but was active at least until March 8. In recent days to the publication of this report, the name of the developer changed in both app stores, being now Cyber ​​Capital Partners Corp”, they specified.

They also indicated that the links to the Privacy policies of VenApp that appeared in both app stores, pointed to the website of Nolatech, S.A.another company registered In Panama. The links are currently offline.
