The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced a new ambush by paramilitary groups called “comanditos” that intend to attack the mobilization called by the leaders of the extremist right this Saturday in Greater Caracas.
“So I warn all of Venezuela of possible attacks inflicted by the same ‘comanditos’, on the orders of Mrs. (María Corina) Machado and with the knowledge of Mr. (Edmundo) González Urrutia, using these groups of criminals against themselves; alert!” warned the head of state.
“I hope in the name of God that we can dispel this threat that would be an ambush, so that they, already defeated today, do not create more uncertainty in a people that deserves peace, tranquility, work and prosperity,” he said.
Ripe The audio of one of the terrorist operators was revealed, who says that they have total freedom to throw fragmentation grenades at the opposition mobilization when they cross the twin bridge that connects Bello Monte with the El Recreo parish of Caracas; in addition, he suggests throwing them when groups of “collectives” approach with the intention of creating the matrix that the people were attacked by these organizations.
“I am simply issuing a public alert, maximum patrolling and protection, because the evil of this devil (María Corina Machado) and this murderer (González Urrutia) has no limits,” he emphasized.
5 thousand reports of violence in the country
During his speech, Maduro also summarized the excesses caused by the opposition and its violent gangs in the country and reported 5,000 threats to the lives of social leaders and Chavista political leaders.
“Five thousand security reports of fascist and criminal attacks, we will clear the Chavista grassroots leaders one by one,” said the Head of State, who lamented the death of passers-by who lost their lives during the violent opposition protests.
The president reiterated that the violent protesters were trained in advance in Peru, Chile, Colombia and Texas, with the aim of going to Venezuela to commit terrorist acts. In an earlier press conference, he said that almost 80% of the Venezuelans who returned on repatriation flights from the United States were involved in the acts of violence recorded in the protests, which spread across several regions of the country.
“There are people who were attacked when they arrived home at night, others who had their car and motorcycle burned, among them two soldiers from the FANB who were murdered viciously, with cruelty. My condolences to the entire Bolivarian National Guard, to their family and all my support to their children for now and for life,” said the Head of State.
