Maduro denounces destabilization plan due to the “reactivation of the commandos”

Maduro says he has his “rifles polished” before the “Almost Venezuela” campaign

Maduro denounced an alleged destabilization plan led by María Corina Machado, and claimed to have evidence of the recruitment of migrants and mercenaries abroad to enter the country.

President Nicolás Maduro assured that sectors of the Venezuelan right are carrying out an alleged fascist plan to “reactivate the terror commandos” and destabilize the country through «mercenary preparation» and the recruitment of migrants abroad.

Maduro affirmed this Monday, November 4, that his administration has audiovisual material that shows the «modus operandi» of this strategy to bring people to the country in order to promote violent acts.

«This is not an opposition outbreak, it is a right-wing extremist, fascist outbreak, which proposes turning Venezuela into a gringo colony and promises that we will be happy»the president stressed.

Maduro foresees 10% growth in GDP

On the other hand, he announced that the growth of the Venezuelan economy will exceed 10% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by the end of 2024, noting that the country has experienced 14 consecutive months of sustained economic expansion.

The president highlighted the key factors behind this growth: investment in strategic sectors, access to credit and a strengthening internal market, as a result of a growth system in which workers, businessmen and entrepreneurs participate.

«In the last two quarters, we have observed robust economic growth that involves all the key actors of the Venezuelan economy»he stated.

According to his statements, economic recovery has been achieved «for Venezuela’s own efforts»without intervention of international financial institutions such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) or the World Bank, under an economy not dependent on oil and resilient to Western sanctions.

Regarding the country’s energy route, he highlighted that the government continues in talks to integrate Venezuela into the BRICS, with the prioritization of investments in oil, gas and petrochemicals with the member countries of this group.

«Venezuela is developing its Bolivarian diplomacy with a new route, the Brics. We are prioritizing all energy investments with the Brics, all of them. Oil, gas, petrochemicals and derivatives. That was talked about in every country where the vice president has gone.»he stated in the ConMaduro+ program.

Finally, he congratulated the National Assembly (AN) for the appointment of the attorney general, Tarek William Saab, the public defender, Alfredo Ruiz, and the comptroller, Gustavo Vizcaíno for the new constitutional period of Citizen Power.
