The President pointed out that thanks to the courage of institutional leaders, civil, political, military and police, Venezuela has strong institutions and is at peace
The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, decorated this Saturday the officials who were sanctioned by the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and the European Union, on January 10, after his swearing-in ceremony as the country’s constitutional leader.
The institutional leaders, civil, political, military and police sanctioned, were decorated with the Bicentennial Victory Order of Ayacucho.
“It is the recognition of a country, because thanks to its bravery, Venezuela has strong institutions and is at peace. Congratulations to everyone, I hope that new sanctions are won, which are recognitions,” said the Head of State.
The decoration was awarded to them during the Closing of the International Anti-Fascist World Festival for a New World, in which more than 2 thousand national and international guests participated, who expressed their unrestricted support for President Nicolás Maduro.
Among those decorated are the president of the Supreme Court of Justice, Caryslia Rodríguez; the Minister of Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, and the Minister of Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán.
In the activity, Maduro called for the formation of a Great Anfascist World Alliance for Peace, Democracy and the Right to Development of the People.
