Through an Official Statement, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated this Friday on behalf of the Venezuelan people the Government of Colombia and the National Liberation Army (ELN), for having successfully developed the Second Cycle of Dialogues of Peace in Mexico City.
The information was released by the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, through a post published on his official account on the social network Twitter.
“President @NicolasMaduro, on behalf of the Venezuelan People and Government, congratulates the Government of Colombia and the National Liberation Army (ELN), for having successfully developed the Second Cycle of Peace Talks in Mexico City, United Mexican States.”
In the letter, Venezuela expresses its appreciation for the constructive work carried out by the parties in this cycle that culminates, “expressed in the progress achieved, demonstrating a high commitment and negotiation capacity, materialized in the agreements reached that allow the solidification of a frank dialogue , for the sake of the long-awaited peace of the brother people of Colombia”.
Likewise, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reiterates its unwavering commitment to continue contributing “with our efforts to strengthen this dialogue process and contribute to the total peace policy led by the President of the Republic of Colombia, Gustavo Petro.”

The Constitutional President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Venezuelan People and Government, congratulates the Government of the Republic of Colombia and the National Liberation Army (ELN), for having successfully developed the Second Cycle of Dialogues of Peace in Mexico City, United Mexican States.
