Maduro congratulated the Army and asked it to renew its anti-imperialist commitment

President Nicolás Maduro led the acts to commemorate the 202 years of the Battle of Carabobo and Army Day in the Carabobo countryside, from where he congratulated the members of the Army and called on them to “renew their anti-imperialist commitment in defense of the Homeland ».

To the members of the Army, Maduro asked them to defend the territory, the Constitution “to continue victorious against the wiles of the empire.”

The president said that, after little more than two centuries of the Battle of Carabobo, with which the independence of Venezuela was sealed on June 24, 1821, Venezuela tells the empires of the world that it will not surrender, that the country is marching heading towards the power century.

To the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, Maduro sent a hug of solidarity and support “who has known how to face an attempted betrayal, of civil war, and at this time he is victorious, with Russia at peace. From Venezuela, all our support for President Putin.”

Among the authorities that were at the event, the attorney general imposed by the extinct constituent, Tarek William Saab; Pedro Calzadilla Calzadilla, president of the National Electoral Council (resigned); the governor of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava; the first lady, Cilia Flores, the president of Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez; among others.
