The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, arrived at the 4F mountain barracks in the early hours of this Monday, located in the parish of January 23, to commemorate the 71st anniversary of the birth of the eternal commander Hugo Chávez Frías.
In an act that has become a tradition for the Bolivarian Revolution, the national president joins political, military and followers leaders to pay tribute to the memory of the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, whose legacy remains the fundamental pillar of the political project headed by the Venezuelan government.
The presence of President Maduro reaffirms his commitment to the principles and ideals of the eternal commander: Bolivarianism, socialism of the 21st century, anti-imperialism, civic-military union, social justice and sovereignty.
In the activity, the first lady, Cilia Flores also participates; the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello; the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez; and the head of the Unified Command of the Revolution, Jorge Rodríguez; among other revolutionary leaders.
Commander Chávez was a revolutionary leader who promoted great changes in Venezuelan society, including the scope of science and technology. His political project was based on sovereignty, integration and popular participation and for this he recognized the importance of developing an own scientific-technological system, which responded to the needs and potentialities of the country.
Born on July 28, 1954 in Barinas, his life was marked by the love of the homeland, his people and his cause.
