The melody of Chavez, the heart of the people, vibrated with the warmth of the thousands of Venezuelans who filled the main streets of the city center, after the mobilization that took place in the east of Caracas.
From Paseo Colón in Plaza Venezuela, Carabobo Park, and the corner of Corazón de Jesús, the river of people extended to Bolívar Avenue in Caracas to support the candidate of the Great Patriotic Pole, Nicolás Maduro Moros.
“We did it again in Caracas, once again on the streets from end to end, on the avenues and highways of the capital of the Republic,” said the candidate for reelection, before a massive rally in support of his candidacy and which shows that hope and the people are in the streets.
And with the national anthem sung by Commander Chávez, the central closing act of the campaign began.
“You are my example, inspiration and strength to face everything we have been through. Today the people are standing and ready for the Great Victory of July 28,” he said, welcoming the participation of the thousands of Venezuelans who filled Caracas this afternoon.
“I have been to more than 300 towns, traveling around the country. We have resisted because we love our country and because we have faith in what is ours, even though we have faced the worst aggression in our history,” he said.
He said that during his pilgrimage “through the deep Venezuela” a new political majority has been built that will be expressed at the polls on Sunday, July 28 with the popular victory.
“We have united all the forces of the people, I can say that today we have formed a new political, social and cultural majority that will be expressed with a resounding electoral majority next Sunday, July 28,” said the presidential candidate of the GPP.
He described the entire process as “an admirable, heroic, creative, joyful, festive and proactive campaign” in which all the forces of the people have been united. “We have formed a new political, social and cultural majority that will be expressed on Sunday, July 28,” he said.
He said that only the Bolivarian Revolution guarantees the path to economic growth and peace.
He recalled that he has managed to overcome the more than 900 sanctions imposed by imperialism and fascism, but has succeeded in creating a new, productive, diversified economy in the country.
“We have achieved 100% supply of the country with national production, we defeated the Dollar Today and hyperinflation. In June, with our own efforts and good policies, we had the lowest inflation in 39 years. I am in charge of the new productive economy, and I want to continue democratising credit, and for money to circulate and reach those who need it to work and produce.” Maduro guaranteed the delivery of more than 5 million loans for entrepreneurs.
“Venezuela has not fallen into the hands of fascism, it has not fallen, nor will it fall. I predict that in Venezuela we will have the greatest electoral victory ever seen in this Bolivarian land and with the triumph of Nicolás Maduro, it will be your triumph, a triumph of peace and tranquility,” he said.
Dont get dressed, you are not going
As he has done throughout his pilgrimage, Maduro asked the crowd whether they wanted a right-wing puppet or a fine rooster in power.
They want a weak, manipulable, pataruco president, a puppet and puppet of the oligarchy,
a puppet of the blue-blooded surnames of Caracas? Or do they want a man of red, Andean, Tachirense blood, a victorious, revolutionary rooster-pinto president? And immediately the rooster’s crow was heard. “This people says to the radical-extremist-fascist right: Don’t get dressed, you’re not going, because the one who is going is Nicolás,” a phrase that the people expressed in unison with the candidate.
“I am a man raised in Christianity, my mother, Teresa de Jesús Moros Acevedo,
and because of my father, since I was a child I was raised in the idea of socialism, of the progressive left, I had a great teacher and a father in life, Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, who raised me in Bolivarianism, I have Christian, socialist and Bolivarian roots, those are my values, strengths and thoughts and those of all of us,” he said.
“I have not been, I am not, and I will never be a puppet or a puppet of anyone, nor a weak and manipulable president. I do not owe anything to anyone in this life. I have no skeleton in my closet, I do not depend on economic or political mafias, nor do I have devils as bosses. Above me there are only two forces, the power of God the Father, creator of heaven and earth, and here on earth, I only come, go and obey one power, one force, the noble and brave people of Venezuela. I am of the people and I owe myself to the people. I am not afraid of demons, I am a man of prayer, reflection, but above all of transformative action.”
Peace or war for the next 50 years
Maduro said that July 28 will be a blessed day, when peace and development for the next 50 years will be decided.
“We will thank God for giving victory to this people who deserve it,” and to be able to open the horizon to 50 years of peace to build the powerful Venezuela, of the
hope and the future.
I have delivered more than 5 million houses, but there are still many people who need their houses. Who is going to build houses for the people, the patarucos?
He said he does not make promises, but that he has come to commit to the people, guaranteeing that he will build more than 3 million homes for families in need.
Do you want Venezuela to become a gringo colony? Do you want Venezuela to become Milei’s Argentina? With the extreme fascist date, we are not even around the corner, we are ready and if we have overcome all the difficulties, on the 28th with the money we are going to put in we will get rid of the extreme fascist right for 100 years, they will end on the 28th,” he said.
Inclusive dialogue
Maduro said that on July 29, after his victory, he will call for a great national dialogue, prioritizing economic, social and cultural dialogue and an inclusive political dialogue, but not with the elites, in order to develop and strengthen democracy.
“Improving the income of workers and continuing to recover family income, to deepen the great missions of women, of youth, the Great Mission of the Living Culture of Venezuela, my Beloved Homeland, the Great Equality Mission, to transform the Barrio Adentro Mission into a large digital house-to-house outpatient network, for the changes and transformations that Venezuela requires,” he explained.
Cultural dialogue will be essential to preserve the Venezuelan identity in the face of various threats, providing options that reflect the deep identity of the people and protecting families and children from negative influences.
“(…) to have options for boys and girls so that they are not trapped by pornography, by drugs, by false Western cultures, Cultural dialogue so that our identity, our culture, our own things reign in Venezuela,” he stressed.
Regarding political dialogue, Maduro stressed that it will be inclusive and not limited to elites, specifying that it is not a dialogue between the top leadership.
“It is a political dialogue to develop democracy, the constitution with the common people, with the forces of the people and with all political sectors that respect democracy.”
“But the fascists think it’s all a joke, but it’s a political dialogue with the people. I have the decree ready to deepen popular, protagonistic democracy and direct democracy with the people.
Regarding the unity of the people that has been achieved through constructive dialogue and the joining of wills from all sectors to contribute to peace and to the power of Venezuela, he specified that it is a unity not only of Chavismo, but of all sectors of society.
“We have united Chavismo, we are united, all of us, without a single crack, the Bolivarian people educated by Chávez are in the streets united as a single block of force, and it is the solid block to unite Venezuela because what we are trying to do here is unite for peace, for independence, for stability, for true democracy, for love, for harmony and inclusion, uniting all Venezuelans, men and women, that is the main task of the moment,” said Maduro in front of the crowd that gathered on Bolívar Avenue and the surrounding streets.
Maduro said he was willing to welcome into the revolutionary ranks those who, with opposing views, “have been defrauded by right-wing leaders.”
“And I can also say that many people, including leaders, disappointed by the lies of the opposition, today express their support for the candidacy of the man of peace, for the candidacy of Chavez’s son: Nicolas Maduro Moros, and I say to all those who were opponents from Bolivar Avenue, from these ten avenues of Caracas, I say, welcome, come, come with us to build a homeland, national unity, national unity,” he said.
He also addressed the businessmen: “You know that the Economic Plan that I launched, in the middle of the economic war, having lost 99% of the income, worked. Now there is a small, medium and large business community growing in Venezuela”….To you, I extend my hand, businessmen and women of Venezuela (…) Only a Bolivarian and Chavista president, only this man who is here, who is not an individual man, who is a people and is called Nicolás Maduro, only we guarantee the peace and stability of this country called Venezuela”, he expressed.
Finally, Maduro asked the people of Caracas to go out very early to vote, and that the reveille, the characteristic call of revolutionaries, be carried out at three in the morning, so that they go out to the streets to serve the country, for which they must have their 1×10 ready to guarantee victory on June 28.
