In a firm demonstration of support for popular organization and participatory democracy, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, instructed the Venezuelan people to achieve this Sunday 100% of the formation of the Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees (CBBI) throughout the national territory.
Through his official Telegram channel, the head of state celebrated the massive activation of the people in the construction of these base structures, highlighting that this day represents a milestone in the political history of the country. «The Venezuelan people activated the formation of the Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees. “We are going today, Sunday, November 9, to complete 100% of the CBBI,” said the president.
Maduro stressed that this collective action marks the beginning of a “beautiful and great” stage for Venezuela, by consolidating an organizational network that strengthens popular sovereignty from the communities.
The CBBI constitute a new political architecture aimed at the decentralization of decision-making and the direct empowerment of the people in the management of public affairs. Its total formation represents a strategic step in deepening the model of participatory and leading democracy promoted by the Bolivarian Government.
With this instruction, President Maduro reaffirms his commitment to the construction of popular power as the backbone of the Bolivarian Revolution, and calls on all social and political forces to actively join this transformative process.
