President Nicolás Maduro demanded that all public officials put aside minimalism and do more for the people of Venezuela. “That the government action reaches the people, that the Ministers get their act together and give top quality results,” he ordered.
“Zero accommodative tendency, zero minimalist, you have to aspire to the minimum to achieve maximum happiness for the people, guarantee their social rights,” he said this Friday during the opening ceremony of the Expo Gobierno 2023 from the Paseo Monumental Los Próceres, in Caracas.
“Do you think that if Venezuela falls into the hands of the right and they win the presidential elections, they will guarantee the social rights of the people, they will see the people with eyes of equality and love?
He asked the ministers for humility and honesty, “that no one feel more than the people, that no one despise the people,” he said. He remarked that “the responsibility that exists with the country is to grow and it is forbidden to fail, we are going for more, the culture of honest work must be imposed to guarantee the people their rights,” he insisted in a firm tone.
Maduro stressed the importance of values, moral and ethical references within the activity carried out in management, for which he insisted that the revolution does not exist without ethical and moral values, “Without morality and honesty everything is a farce, a lie . If we do not adhere to these ethical principles, everything is a lie and we are here so that things are true, to magnify the idea of Bolivarian Socialism”, he said.

He warned the governors that he knows precisely about their functions and acts. “I know exactly what they are doing, everything they do and even what they eat,” he said, noting that he is proud of the government team he has.
500 vehicles for the PNB
Maduro asked that all the more than 500 vehicles confiscated in corruption cases be delivered to the Peace Quadrants of the Bolivarian National Police to guarantee the protection of the Venezuelan population.
“I have ordered that once possession of these vehicles is obtained, in the short term and immediately, those more than 500 high-end vehicles, recaptured and bought with money from corruption, be turned over to the Bolivarian National Police for the peace quadrants, so that they will guarantee citizen security,” said .
He highlighted the work being done by the National Anti-Corruption Police (PNCC) to “hit hard, to demolish all the corrupt, all the mafias and corrupt,” and assured that the battle will continue until it is achieved.
He urged the Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos, to keep the peace quadrants on the permanent agenda, to make further progress in them, deploying all the teams necessary for their supervision and equipping them with everything they need to his work.
In addition, he pointed out that work must continue on the peace quadrants methodology to deal with the most serious security problems in the country, or insecurity, which grow in the heat of violence, drug trafficking, social decomposition in sister countries such as Ecuador Chile and Peru.
