The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, arrived in the State of Kuwait on Monday as part of the tour undertaken by the Venezuelan Head of State through Eurasia.
The national president arrived at the Airport of the Emir of Kuwait and it becomes his first official visit as head of state.
President Maduro was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Sheik Mohammad Abdullah.
“Happy to arrive at the new destination of our international work agenda: the State of Kuwait. We have come to strengthen and expand strategic ties with this friendly nation, which is part of OPEC. It will be a fruitful day!” the president wrote on Twitter.
This would be the fourth country visited by President Maduro on his tour after starting last June 7 in Türkiye, Algeria and Iran.
