The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, arrived in the State of Kuwait on Monday as part of the tour undertaken by the Venezuelan Head of State through Eurasia.

The national president arrived at the Airport of the Emir of Kuwait and it becomes his first official visit as head of state.

President Maduro was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Sheik Mohammad Abdullah.

“Happy to arrive at the new destination of our international work agenda: the State of Kuwait. We have come to strengthen and expand strategic ties with this friendly nation, which is part of OPEC. It will be a fruitful day!” the president wrote on Twitter.

“From Turkey, Algeria in North Africa, the Islamic Republic of Iran and in Arab lands in Kuwait, working for our Homeland, for the construction of the multi-center, multi-polar world, of the new world, the new humanity uniting spiritually to the new humanity and building great cooperation issues for the prosperity of our beloved Venezuela”, he said.
