Maduro announced the appointment of Division General Juan Sulbarán Quintero as the Sole Authority of Las Tejerías, during a meeting held from the Presidential Command Post, located in the Miraflores Palace.
During a meeting held on the afternoon of Tuesday the 11th at the Presidential Command Post, located in the Miraflores Palace, the president Nicholas Maduro appointed Division General Juan Sulbarán Quintero as the Sole Authority of Las Tejerías.
“I ask all the political, civil and military authorities to abide by the sole authority for Las Tejerías of GD Juan Sulbarán Quintero from this moment,” Maduro said, from the Miraflores Palace.
Sulbarán Quintero was in charge of the recovery of the Tovar municipality, in Mérida state, during the floods that occurred in 2021. «This is a town that grows in difficulties, this is not going to be the exception. We had the experience in Tovar and we came out victorious, here in Las Tejerías we are going to do the same and we are going to achieve the true civic-military-police fusion».
The Government divided the attention areas into 23 points and each one is in charge of a general as chief, a medical team and a care team, in which 150 doctors were mobilized.
