The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced this Saturday that “a process of cleaning, review and restructuring of the electricity company is being carried out so that the infiltrators truly get out of there.”
This statement was made by the head of state from the coastal strip of the state of La Guaira regarding the celebration of the two months of the popular victory of July 28 where he denounced that this month the extreme right has tried and attacked the Electric Service.
He assured that the extremist opposition is no guarantee for the nation and assured that their plans were revealed since July 29, when they activated the “comanditos” to attack the people.
“They attacked Guri -referring to what happened last August- but the people went out to work, nothing or no one is going to stop us, whatever the fascists do, the work, the development, the recovery and the peace of “Venezuela is not going to be disturbed by anything or anyone, neither today nor ever,” he stated.
In the context of the struggles that the Bolivarian Revolution has given, President Maduro recalled “the hitmen that we have captured promote (…) hatred and violence, they are the fifth column to dismember our country, to persecute the people to ignore the power popular. What would have happened if fascism won the elections? What would have happened if they had come to power in Miraflores?”
Along these lines, he indicated that the work “is to open awareness, they deceive us and how unfortunate it is that some still believe in the lies of the queen bee, and argue (…) We have to march together, for peace, to take care of Venezuela.”
“We are on the right side of history, victorious, and moving forward, we are on all fronts of battles. “We are in victory, moving forward!” he expressed.
