The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, led the plenary of the Federal Government Council (CFG) 2025, which was carried out in compliance with the regulations established in the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and in which it was made a balance of 2024 and the corresponding projection for 2025.
Accompanied by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, the sectoral vice presidents of Government, the mayors, governors, ministers, spokesmen and spokesmen of the popular power, the president stressed that in 2024 the allocation to the regions was increased more than 100% through the CFG.
He listed that during that period more than $ 119 million were given to the governorates, the mayorships $ 60 million and $ 96 million to the popular power. In this regard, the president stressed that after the first popular consultation there is 97% execution and after the second consultation, 96%.
The executive vice president of the Rodríguez stressed that “we have been growing, we have also improved the focus of the attention that have been born mainly from the reality of our people.” He added that in 2024, 11,900 projects between governorates and mayors were executed.
President Maduro instructed that the challenge must be increased the efficiency for this year 2025, in which “the resources allocated to the execution of projects will increase by 54%, $ 447,275,707 million, its equivalent in Bolivars.”
New Secretariat
The Head of State announced the new conformation of the Secretariat before the Federal Government Council 2025, which was made up of the Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, the Electric Power Minister Jorge Elieser Márquez, the Minister for Science, Technology, Education, Education and Health Gabriela Jiménez, the governor of the Portuguese State Primitive Cedeño, the Governor of the State Monagas Ernesto Luna and the governor of the state Cojedes José Alberto Galíndez.
It is also made up of the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, the mayor of the Mara Municipality, Luid Gerardo Caldera Morales and mayor of the Maneiro municipality, David Morel Rodríguez
Priorities
The Federal Government Council is the institution in charge of planning and coordinating policies and actions for the development of decentralization and transfers of national power powers, to the states and municipalities.
After the diagnosis made in the different government instances, an order of priorities has been established, in which it was specified that the water, road and housing services are those that require the most attention in that same order.
President Maduro asked the CFG Secretariat, to work collectively to solve the main problems of the territory, always taking into account and first, the popular power.
