Maduro and John Kerry greet each other during COP27

During the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) being held in Egypt, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and the United States (USA) Special Presidential Envoy for Foreign Affairs of Climate Change, John Kerry, shake hands, this as a sign of diplomacy and respect between the parties, outlined the state channel.

The journalist Joshua Goodman, from the American agency Associated Press, published the video of the meeting, in which it is perceived that both authorities, between laughter and jokes, had a brief exchange of words and wished each other luck, the Sharm International Convention Center El-Sheikh.

It is worth remembering that during the working day this Monday, the Venezuelan head of state spoke with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, on issues related to the political changes that are taking place in Latin America and the negotiations in Venezuela.

Currently, diplomatic relations between Venezuela and the US are very deteriorated. Venezuela has been the victim of multiple coercive and unilateral measures against the national economy and its people, by the White House administration.
