The candidate of the Great Patriotic Pole, Nicolás Maduro, arrived this Saturday to Maturín, Monagas state, where he was received with joy and to the rhythm of the song “El Celular” those present danced led by the candidate and the first Combatant, Cilia Flores.
“Come on, Niko, come on, come on friend, don’t walk alone because the people are with you.” And in a festive atmosphere, the candidate invited people to vote on June 28.
“I come to ask for the vote of the brave and patriotic people of Monagas,” he said. “I count on their blessings.”
He called on the people to prepare to vote and guarantee peace before, during and after July 28, and assured that after the victory of June 28, “a time of prosperity and peace will open up for Venezuela to grow into a powerful country.”
“They threaten to tarnish this process. They want to claim fraud from now on, they (the opposition) know the truth, the street knows the truth, the people know the truth. We are winning and winning well, with the noble people, they know it, the gringos know it and they want to tarnish the country and the electoral process,” he stressed.
He stressed that Venezuela is moving towards a new democracy, “that of the neighbor, the community and four elections per year.”
Referring to the quarterly popular consultations in which community projects are chosen, as part of a communal electoral system, he asserted that this “is the truth of Venezuela.”
I don’t want a show or crying
“I don’t want a show, or crying, because on the 28th we’re going to give him a beating. I don’t want a show, or a comic, the patarucos have already lost as of now,” sang those present with the group and the candidate on stage.
“Maturín is already an oil power and will be a gas power,” said Maduro, and assured that “this land is destined to bring great wealth to Venezuela.”
