The 1×10 program of the Good Government began establishing water, education and health as priorities, but now Maduro has instructed to add three more elements to the formula: electricity, gas and telecommunications
President Nicolás Maduro celebrated this Friday, May 19, the First anniversary of the 1×10 program of Good Government, a system that collects complaints from the population through digital platforms such as VenApp, ensuring that this strategy will allow them to win the presidential elections scheduled for 2024.
«The 1×10 of Good Government is a political method to win elections. It is a method of mobilization, of political cohesion. It has to become a powerful vanguard to govern from and with the people, to shore up the People’s Power of Venezuela”, he reasoned.
Through the VenApp platform, Chavismo collects citizen complaints and claims to attend to them, especially with regard to public services, despite the fact that one year after the application of this mechanism, the perception of the population is that services continue to be a transcendental problem in the country.
Not only do problems with services such as water, gas, electricity and telecommunications remain, but their privatization has advanced with the appearance of companies that are beginning to take over the reins that the Chavista government assured that it would maintain a free and functional regime. as warned SuchWhich through its serial Public Services (not so).
The 1×10 program of the Good Government began by establishing water, education and health as priorities, but now Maduro has instructed to add three more elements to the formula: electricity, gas and telecommunications. He clarified that this does not mean that they cannot process other complaints through the platform.
«We decided to add three more priorities: electricity, gas and telecommunications to attend to. This does not mean that our peoples do not make other complaints. Everything is processed, but the orientation of the 1 × 10 is to concentrate the resources, efforts and capacities on these six needs », he explained.
According to the official data collected on the platform, more than 105,000 complaints related to the provision of water services have been processed, of which 98,000 situations have been resolved. The ruler did not clarify what happened to the remaining 7,000 in the account.
In this context, he requested the collaboration of all central government officials to expand the 1×10 Good Government mechanism, affirming that it has become a priority for the Chavista administration.
«All the ministers, all the governors, all the mayors have to become the minister of popular power, of the 1×10 of Good Government. That is the priority of this stage of the Bolivarian Revolution. There is no other. It is the priority », he stressed.
