Wrapped in sheets, plastic bags and inside a suitcase, the lifeless body of Julieth JAM was found near Bolívar Park in the Santander capital.
The 22-year-old was apparently killed by a person who would have been with her in an apartment in the city center.
A recycler who was looking for plastic and other waste in the area of Carrera 22 with Calle 39 was the one who found the body and immediately notified the community, astonished by what he had glimpsed.

A quadrant patrol arrived at the site and verified the scene.
This happened at around 8:15 p.m. on Friday, January 15.

There are several hypotheses that are handled about this crime that has caused consternation in the city of Bucaramanga.
According to information from the aforementioned portal, the alleged murderer would have left his residence bound for Parque Bicenterio in search of a sex worker. After an agreement, he would have moved with her to an apartment in a building located on Calle 36 with Carrera 22.
At the site, the individual would have mechanically asphyxiated her.
According to the hypothesis handled by the authorities, the subject would have murdered his victim so as not to pay him.
Apparently, Julieth’s lifeless body was in the apartment located on Calle 36 with Carrera 22 for about 12 hours.
Julieth’s body was transferred to Legal Medicine where the causes of her death will be determined.
In a video published by the Facebook account «What happens in Bucaramanga», is observed when two subjects leave an establishment holding a heavy tula. Later inside, a recycler would have found the body of the young woman.

After learning of the discovery of Julieth’s lifeless body, the authorities launched an operation to locate the person responsible for this unfortunate event, resulting in the detention of a suspected suspect.
The 33-year-old individual was taken to the URI of the Prosecutor’s Office, where he must answer for the crime of aggravated homicide.
The other person who appears in the video holding the tula, would be key in the investigation since he helped to leave it abandoned.
This person, apparently, states that the subject in question assured him that they were rubble, so he did not see malice in the situation.
