She is also a Specialist in Comprehensive Project Management at the Nueva Granada Military University and known for being an outstanding officer with a career in the military institution for nearly 25 years.
She is an industrial engineer from the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente Cali with a double international Master’s degree in Project Management
She was Chief of Planning and Production Control of the Army Intendance Directorate, Chief of Plans of the Army Intendancy Directorate, Chief of the Intendancy operational and supplies area.
She was also part of the Army Quartermaster Directorate, Budget Planning Director and Delegate Officer in the United States Army Security and Assistance Command – USASAC, in the city of Hunstville Alabama, USA.
She was Director of Budget Planning and Deputy Officer in the Assistance and Security Command of the Army of the United States of America.
In her military career, she has been recognized with the Bicentennial medals of the liberation campaign, Antonio Nariño Military Merit Order, Faith in the Cause, Colonel Guillermo Fergusson Order of Merit, and the Ministry of Defense National Distinguished Service military medal, among others.
