Santo Domingo. Dominican artists Luys Bien and Ramón Orlando have joined their voices to brighten up the tropical music scene to the rhythm of merengue with “Latidos de Tambor”, an original song, with a unique musical structure and whose lyrics acclaim pure love with its various manifestations .
“Latidos de Tambor” is the first musical collaboration of the artist from Loma de Cabrera and is the second merengue by Luys Bien, which has arrangements and production by the legendary maestro Ramón Orlando, who highlights this song as “a poem” with beautiful lyrics. The song will be available from Wednesday, October 12, on all digital platforms.
Luys Bien began the year betting on merengue with Mujer Amiga, a song that celebrates reciprocated love, and was the surprise for the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the sacrament of marriage of the artist’s parents. Additionally, last August, Luys Bien launched the typical merengue “We love each other so much”, integrating various elements of Dominican musical culture with this rhythm.
For his part, maestro Ramón Orlando Valoy is a legend of Latin music. Particularly in merengue, the maestro has made transcendental contributions and with whose internationalization he has contributed in a decisive way both through his own songs and in the production and arrangements for great artists of the genre. His most recent collaboration prior to “Latidos de Tambor” has been with the song “15,500 Noches” by Romeo Santos and performed together with Toño Rosario, Rubby Pérez and Fernando Villalona as part of the album “Fórmula, Vol. 3”.
“Latidos de Tambor”, written by the poet Cristino Alberto Gómez, joins the repertoire of original music that has been developed and strengthened by the artist Luys Bien, who is expected to make his debut on national and international stages in the coming months.
