Luqueño stops again with a draw against Pastoreo

Hoy Paraguay

In the match of the tenth date of the Intermediate Division 2022, Sportivo Luqueño again gave up points at home by equaling 1-1 today with Pastoreo, another contender for the first places in the tournament.

Miguel Zahzú’s team once again exhibited an unconvincing game, mainly in the initial stage. In this context, it was the red-and-white cast that took the lead thanks to Renzo Carballo, who opened the scoring at the Feliciano Cáceres in the 38th minute.

However, before the end of the first half, Juan Núñez made it 1-1 on the scoreboard (45+1′) and gave Auriazul hopes of victory.

But the ‘score’ would not move again in Luque and each sector had to settle for the sum of one point.

With this result, Luqueño accumulated his second match without winning although he reached 19 points, staying one point below the leader San Lorenzo, who still has to play for day 10 on Sunday against Iteño.

Pastoreo, meanwhile, kept his unbeaten record but won his third tie in a row: with 20 units, he partially shares the top of the Intermediate League with Rayadito.
