In the midst of the conflicts that are taking place in Bolivia, where more than 10 days of a strike have been held in the department of Santa Cruz, generating a worsening of the political, social and economic situation throughout the Bolivian nation; adding to it that the first authority of the State apparently would like to know how much the citizenship resists that the census demands.
The world follows its own rhythm highlighting a fact that affects all of Latin America, such as the victory of former President Lula da Silva over the current president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro; it was a contentious and close contest because to the surprise of many, Bolsonaro increased his electoral flow although it was not enough to win the Presidency, but it was enough to obtain a Congress against Lula, which translates into a constant negotiation of the president-elect to govern to more than 215 million inhabitants.
Based on the aforementioned, it seems that Latin America has once again turned to the left (worn and imprecise denomination) with the recently elected presidents: Boric in Chile, Petro in Colombia, Xiomara Castro in Honduras, Castillo in Peru, Arce in Bolivia and now Lula in Brazil, obviously the most influential will be Lula because of the geographical and economic magnitude of the nation he will preside over.
However, the current Lula will not be as leftist as some of his president friends would like; It can be deduced by several indicators, the first is the closeness of his victory, the second is that he will have a Congress literally controlled by the Bolsonaro current that will take him or force him to go to the center of the left; and finally, the alliances agreed to achieve victory are from the political center of Brazil.
Therefore, although Lula’s victory is a gain for the supposed Latin American left, with the passing of time it could be a stone on the road, because due to internal difficulties his actions will be of the center left (also called social democrat), dragging with this to the other misnamed leaders of the left; at the same time, it is a hope for those who have learned from experience that the left can only serve to destroy entire nations.
