President-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva performed, this Sunday morning (4), a laryngoscopy at the Hospital Sírio-Libanês, in São Paulo. The exam was previously scheduled.
According to a medical bulletin released by the hospital, the “examination was within normal limits.”
Lula left for São Paulo on Friday afternoon, where he watched Brazil lose to Cameroon in the World Cup. Between today and tomorrow (5) he should return to Brasília.
On November 20, Lula performed a laryngoscopy to remove leukoplakia from the left vocal fold, a lesion in the larynx. At the time, the procedure showed no neoplasm (cancer).
