The regional organization known as the São Paulo Forum, which brings together left-wing parties and movements in Latin America, met between June 29 and July 2 at its headquarters in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil. The Nicaraguan opposition leader and victim of jail and exile at the hands of the Ortega-Murillo dictatorship, Juan Sebastián Chamorro, described the São Paulo forum as “a forum of complicity” where the dictator Ortega takes refuge and that only shows that he is isolated by the democracies of the world.
