Luis Suárez is having a spectacular start at the Gremio. There are two official matches in five days, with a computation of four goals and a title in the bag. His idyll with the goal is driving the crooked Tricolor Gaucho madness, one of the most passionate in all of Brazil.
The former Barça player, who will turn 36 next week, made his debut this Saturday on the first day of the Gaucho Championship, scoring the winning goal for Gremio against Caixas (1-2), in a meeting in which those of Renato Portaluppi they had to come back from an adverse marker. The Uruguayan was having a discreet performance until he caught a ball in the 75th minute and created enough space to finish with a tight shot and dress, once again, as the main protagonist of his team.

At this start of the season, Suárez will face regional commitments of the Gaucho Championship, where there is maximum expectation to see him in action in the classic against Internacional, one of the hottest clubs in the country. Later, the debut in the Copa do Brasil will arrive at the end of February and the start of the Brasileirao is scheduled for April 16.
Suárez, who before the World Cup in Qatar played for Nacional in Montevideo, has committed to the Guild for two seasons, until December 2024. In his first campaign, the objective that has been set is to lead the gauchos to qualify for the Copa Libertadores next year.
