The candidate for the presidency of the Dominican College of Journalist (CDP) Professor Luis Pérez valued as positive the institutional work developed by the Electoral Commission, responsible for organizing and administering the elections that this guild will develop on the next 29 of this month.
A press release indicates that Pérez described the measures implemented by the Electoral Commission, which ensures are attached to Law 10-91 and its internal regulations, to the Electoral Regulations of the College and the Code of Ethics of the journalist.
The professor of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) highlighted the commitment shown by each member of the Electoral Commission of the CDP, after pointing out that their duty is to contribute to the institutional strengthening of the guild that groups journalists.

Urge to vote
Professor Pérez urged collegiate journalists to vote for the elections that this guild will develop on the next 29 of the current, where their authorities will be renewed.
The Electoral Commission is chaired by Manuel Quiterio Cedeño and also integrated by Nurys Paulino, Raúl Hernández, Elsa Bello and Fidias Cuevas.
He assumed his duties on May 31 of this year, in compliance with the resolution of an assembly, which gave him powers to organize and administer the internal elections of the journalistic guild.
