the government of Joe Biden junior embarked on two wars that are proving to be a failure of transcendent dimension for the vital interests of his nation. The two are proxiesthat is, through surrogate countries that pay the bill: Ukraine and Israel. The first attempts to weaken Russia. It wants to prevent this nation from uniting, with its very serious nuclear capabilities, with China and, both, presenting insurmountable resistance – as in fact happens – to its deep-rooted hegemonic impulses. With the second, Israel, is determined to preserve a platform of military power in the entire unstable Middle East region. That part of the world that has enormous oil reserves and is permeated by religious beliefs, which many fear to the point of causing them nighttime anguish.
That of Ukraine was manufactured by the gringo supremacist elite, first, by expanding the war facilities of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) throughout the European borders with Russia. Second, with the fascist coup on the Maidan and then unleashing an immediate repression against everything Russian in Donbas.
The intense and extensive Western propaganda has tried to make the Russians, with Putin at the head, the terrible aggressor and sole culprit of this war that is now in its third year. As for Israel, its compulsive and fanatical intentions to take over the Palestinian lands lead it to want to destroy any obstacle to its excessive or sacred ambitions. Israel’s bellicose racism undoubtedly finds support in the US elite for similar reasons.
The damage that this double sponsorship has caused to the American image is devastating. The erosion that is already eating away at them has an immediate effect, but much remains entrenched and will gradually present itself until it becomes a dense future dam. And it is in front of the entire world, as well as within itself. It is now unconcealable to testify who is the real culprit of both events. One of them through the continuous support given to all the destructive excesses of the Israeli government and a good part of the citizens who support it. The Security Council’s continued efforts to stop the killing are obstructed by supportive US decisions.
The universal condemnations at the UN magnify them; the numerous set of vetoes, exercised against all democratic, pacifist and human conscience. Much of the Democrats’ recent electoral catastrophe is due to this. American society has resented – whether it knows it or not – to the core of its past and life formation, the genocide caused by the Biden administration and forces that accompany it. Added to this is the economic wear and tear that weighs on their clogged finances when paying for two simultaneous wars.
The internal purchase and sale of weapons and their subsequent shipment at the expense of each user’s budget does not save any appearance of business. They remember both episodes of the pitiful past, what the defeat in Vietnam was like and the idea of investing in weapons and food ( guns & butter) that exploded at Lyndon Johnson.
The phrase, launched by Biden to turn Putin into a global pariah, has remained in onerous political limbo. This character has moved freely in geopolitics. He has partnered with Xi Jinping and both lead the increasingly powerful BRICS group. More and more countries want to join this supraformation. Not a few of them are fed up with the continuous interventionist punishments. Usual imperial ways of acting, imposing severe and unilateral will, left and right. To achieve this, the US has the dollar and additional whips, under its control as unavoidable weapons.
The coordinated pressures and penalties against the Russian economy and war machine, exerted by NATO members, have not produced the desired effects. The basic structure of that country continues to function and it can well be said that it has won the war. The escalation in the quality and modernization of the weapons used against Russia has just received a lethal blow: the use of a medium and long-range hypersonic projectile (12 thousand kilometers per hour) that set off alarms everywhere. Capable of carrying nuclear warheads, this missile evades any known defense mechanism. But, most importantly, Putin is determined to use it – as demonstrated – despite its enormous implicit cost. It is very possible that the arrival of Donald Trump to the White House will mark the expected and feared change for the urgent peace negotiations.
Joseph Biden will leave his post on the verge of the catastrophe that he could have caused in his late hours. Reversing the damage caused to the already diminished American and Western hegemony is extremely remarkable. Both in the problem of Ukraine and in the criminal Israeli bellicosity, a moment of sanity is now necessary, even if it implies additional defeats and penalties.
