During the meeting, the head of state shared with officers and enlisted men a lunch composed of typical dishes of the Dominican Christmas season.
In his words, Abinader expressed his gratitudeon behalf of the Government and the Dominican people, for the dedication and commitment demonstrated by members of the Navy.
He highlighted that a significant part of the achievements achieved in terms of drug seizures is the result of the work carried out by this institution.
“I want to thank you for your dedication, your defense and their work… When we show the number of seizures of drug traffickingis due in large part to the work carried out by the Navy, defending the quality of life of the people, defending our homeland from all these criminal actions,” he expressed.
