The Minister of Tourism assured that the government of President Abinader has revolutionized the tourism industry and that even with the condition that the country is losing half a million tourists due to the international situation, this year it will end up receiving 7.2 million tourists, a record number in the history of the sector.
Reference tourist real estate project in the area
For his part, the president of Maceo & Company, Marco Maceo, explained that his development has become a benchmark tourist real estate project in the area.
He explained that by the beginning of next year they will increase their capacity to 200 rooms with the alliance with Wyndham and will provide around 400 direct jobs at the end of the project.
In the same way, Edward De Valle II, CEO of Grupo Valle and Co-developer of Tryp Playa Palenque, congratulated the government for the great work done in the recovery of tourism.

About the project
TRYP by Wyndham will be a four-star condo hotel and tourist complex in a renowned gated residential complex built on the beachfront, recognized by the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic and which will consist of 44 condominium hotel units, 36 residences, 4 bungalow suites and 7 villas. The architectural design will be in charge of Mr. Juan Sánchez from (Sánchez & Sánchez) and interior design by Mrs. Jimena Trujillo from SAIA Arquitectos.
