Luis Abinader delivers 650 property titles to Azua

El Caribe

President Luis Abinader congratulates one of the beneficiaries with a title in Azua.

Azua. President Luis Abinader yesterday delivered 650 property titles in this province to the same number of families, which in turn benefits more than 2,600 people.

The titled homes are distributed in the sectors Proyecto 4, Sabana Yegua, Isura, La Ciénega, el Rosario and Pueblo Viejo, Kilometro 7 and 8, La Ceiba Nueva, Los Jovillos, El Copey, Nuevo Curro, Cruce del 15 and Tábara Abajo .

When delivering these certificates of titles, the head of state said that from today their owners are more owners of their life and their future, without anyone being able to interfere.

“I have always said, this is the best policy, the one that recognizes and gives rights to people, distributes wealth, provides security and, above all, draws a new horizon in the lives of thousands of people,” said President Abinader.

He affirmed that having a house, a roof and a security is something that our laws recognize, “but that there is not always a direct relationship to materialize those rights.”

“The horizon of having a Dominican Republic where we eliminate, as soon as possible, the lack of qualifications is closer every day, because every day we advance,” said the president.
He specified that in this government management the people are supported and recognized.

In the opinion of the ruler, this is a legal recognition of the Government, but above all it is an act of justice, because this was his right.

“Surely sometime in all these years you have heard a politician or leader who promises you happiness, well, I promise you justice so that you seek that happiness,” said the head of state.

He also added that, “especially my congratulations to the families who today receive their title, enjoy what is theirs and seek in this new stage of their life, the well-being and happiness they deserve; and never forget that we are here, a Government that is your Government and that will always accompany you on that path, helping to improve your quality of life ”.

They can go to financial institutions

For his part, the executive director of the Permanent Commission for Land Titling of the State, Merido Torres stressed that the beneficiaries of land will be able to go to financial institutions to seek credit and that they will also have the legal security they deserve.

Torres indicated that with this achievement, the graduates will be able to supply the entire market with products from the basic basket such as onion, banana, watermelon and bananas.

He pointed out that the expenses in titling were assumed by the Government, since if the beneficiaries had assumed it they would invest about 52 million pesos.

In the same way, he announced that 1,400 more property titles will be delivered in the month of December in this same province.

Meanwhile, the director general of the Dominican Agrarian Institute (IAD), Francisco García assured that President Abinader has great interest in improving the quality of life of all men in the countryside.

García considered that the president is convinced that the country is heading towards the social well-being that everyone deserves.
Agapito Figueroa, speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, stressed that they had to wait 40 years for their dreams to come true, for which he thanked the president for his efforts.

Las Yayas Bridge with Father Las Casas

President Luis Abinader delivered the bridge that connects Las Yayas with Padre las Casas, built with an investment of 94 million pesos. The important infrastructure that had collapsed due to the rains of storm Laura in August last year, consists of the construction of a metal bridge with a 20-meter section. Abinader announced the resumption of work at the Las Yayas High School, a work that has been paralyzed for seven years.
