Lugo’s rehabilitation will be long, announces doctor who treats him in Argentina

Senator Fernando Lugo is in his first hours of hospitalization at the Fleni Clinic in Buenos Aires, directed by Dr. Sergio Perrone, who is designing the therapeutic recovery plan.

In an interview with Argentine Public TV, Dr. Perrone explained that he had already seen Senator Fernando Lugo in Paraguay during his hospitalization at the Migone Sanatorium and stressed that “he really had exceptional assistance, with a progressive recovery.”

He also mentioned that the rehabilitation of the ACV picture will have a “long process”.

“You have to maintain constant work with the patient, not only in recovery, but also at home,” said the doctor when speaking of Senator Lugo’s current condition.

It is worth mentioning that the Fleni Institute specializes in neurological diseases or pathologies, being one of the most renowned in the region in its area.

Let us remember that former Paraguayan player Salvador Cabañas had followed his treatment precisely at the Fleni Institute after being saved from a shot to the head that he suffered years ago in Mexico.
