With a goal by Luciano at the end, São Paulo defeated Ayacucho (Peru) by 3-2, on Thursday night (7) at the Nacional de Lima stadium, for the 1st round of Group D of the Copa Sudamericana. This result left Tricolor in the isolated lead of the key with three points won.

São Paulo even gave the idea that they would have a quiet night, opening the scoring with just two minutes of ball rolling. Marquinhos took a corner, Luciano scored and Arboleda took the opportunity to score with a cart.
But the advantage of the Brazilian team was short-lived. At 6 minutes, Ayacucho equalized the score with Barrios. And the home team took the lead in the 19th minute, in a free kick by Techera. Three minutes later, São Paulo left everything the same again with a header from Miranda after a corner kick.
The match remained indefinite until the 42nd minute, when striker Luciano took the penalty perfectly to overcome goalkeeper Espinoza and ensure the triumph of Tricolor do Morumbi.

São Paulo returns to play for the competition next Thursday (14), against Everton (Chile). However, before the Morumbi team debuts in the Brazilian, against Athletico-PR on Sunday (10).
