Leaders of various union spaces, social movements, political organizations, cooperatives and small and medium-sized companies ratified this Thursday the call for a mobilization towards the Plaza de Mayo on October 17 to commemorate the 77th anniversary of the Peronist Loyalty Day, which will culminate with an act in which a clearly political document on the national reality and its proposals will be read.

This was confirmed to Télam Radio by the head of the Buenos Aires Graphic Federation (FGB) and deputy of the Federal Workers Current (CFT), Héctor Amichetti, who maintained that the objective will be to demand “unity based on social justice and sovereignty”.

They met on Wednesday with other social spaces, businessmen and politicians at the headquarters of the graphic union of Amichetti, where they ratified the call to Plaza de Mayo for the next 17 and the preparation of a joint document.

“In a scenario of so much social crisis and salary deterioration, we have to fight to recover income for those workers who do not have a formal job, who are the majority of the economically active population in our country”Godoy told Telam.

In this framework, the head of the CTA-A considered: “The Government has to fulfill that commitment that it assumed during the elections to end hunger and that, unfortunately, instead of advancing, it has regressed in that situation.”

“From the Autonomous CTA we always bet on the unity of the popular field; for this reason, for several weeks, we met with colleagues from other trade union, social, political and SME organizations to set the date for October 17 and set the course that the Government must take to channel this economic and social crisis. We do not want macrismo anymore, but the current situation requires us to continue expressing ourselves in the streets,” Godoy told this agency.

“We expect a great convocation from broad social and political sectors but, above all, from the Argentine people who are not having a good time, but are not resigned to the lack of depth that the measures taken by our Government have”he remarked.

“Furthermore,” Beibe added, “we need to repudiate the persecution and attempted assassination of Cristina (Fernández de Kirchner), who is the most important leader of Peronism because she continues to express for millions of Argentines the hope of building a fairer and sovereign”.
