The center’s enrollment amounts to almost 600 students, of whom only a fraction attended.
In it Center of Excellence Republic of Colombiadirected by Augusto Casillasthe situation was somewhat better, although with numbers still low.
Casillas explained that only 40% of the students attended classes, out of a total enrollment of 850.
The director attributed the decline in attendance to weather factors, noting that “this year it went down and I think it had mostly to do with the weather.”
