The president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Elvis Amoroso, welcomed international watchmen, who will participate in the elections this Sunday, whom he described as “luxury visitors.”
He stressed that the watchmen will be exceptional witnesses and will be able to observe how a town will vote to choose their municipal authorities. He pointed out that the true commitment is that the will of the people be respected.
Loving, accompanied by the Board of Directors of the Common Agency, he read a statement in which he stressed that it is an extraordinary opportunity to welcome prominent personalities linked to various areas.
The president of the CNE added that the watchmen are “at this time, the most important, together with the people of Venezuela, of the guarantee and neatness of this electoral process.”
He said that the National Electoral Council has a commitment to the democracy and peace of the nation. “But the greatest responsibility stands out ensuring that the absolute will of the inhabitants of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is respected.”
He pointed out that 1,400 veterans will be deployed throughout the country and will attest to “the benefits of the best system in the world.”
“When each Venezuelan exercises their right to suffrage, in your presence, gentlemen veterars, that exercise involves the fulfillment of the duty of honor, to honor and defend the homeland of Bolívar, provided for in article 130 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,” he said.
“Honorable veterans and seers, you will be exceptional witnesses, witnessing as a people with a democratic vocation and peace lover, you will go out again to vote to choose your authorities, in defense of your sovereignty and self -determination,” he added.

He explained that municipal elections 2025 represent the constituent electoral process number 33, which shows that in Venezuela there is a participatory and leading democracy.
He explained that this time, 2806 charges will be chosen. There will be 135 mayors or mayors, 2471 councilors or councilors.
1420 councilors will be chosen by a list, which represents 60 percent.
While 982 councilors by nominal vote that represents 40 percent.
