The police officer Pamela Mayhuasca Mueras became a ‘green angel’ after breastfeeding a baby who was crying from hunger. The police officer who works in the Citizen Participation Office of the El Tambo police station was moved to hear the crying of the baby who had been rescued half-naked from his mother who was drinking in the streets. The young police officer, who has a 2-year-old son, breastfed the 5-month-old baby who still does not have a name. The little one was taken to the UPE (Special Protection Unit) in Huancayo and the agent went there for five days to breastfeed the child.

Yesterday, Petty Officer Mayhuasca burst into tears when the baby was handed over to her for safekeeping and she took him home to take care of him. “We must help with a grain of sand. I was moved to see how he arrived at the police station,” the police said.
This story began on September 20 when police arrived at the streets of 13 de Noviembre and Alejandro O. Deustua, where a 24-year-old woman was drunk and drinking alcohol. The baby that the woman was carrying was half-naked and due to the alleged moral and material abandonment, the child was taken away from the mother who has two other children, ages 5 and 3.
The rescued baby does not take formula, only breast milk, so he cried intensely. Officer Pamela Mayhuasca offered to feed him and the UPE handed the baby over to her as a foster family. PNP Commander Erik Acosta congratulated the officer for the tender gesture.
