The national senator for CABA, Martín Lousteau, considered that if the UCR “does not think of being a government must do something else“, when leading the first Buenos Aires plenary session of the Evolución group that took place in La Plata, where the legislator of Together for Change (JxC) questioned the leadership of the centenary party.
“We are here because we belong to the best party in Argentine politics, but also because the match is not so good. If this party does not dare to be a government in the province to transform the lives of the people of Buenos Aires, it is better that they start thinking about dedicating themselves to something else, “said Lousteau in an act that was held at the Club Platense in the provincial capital.
The meeting, which began after noon, included panels and the closing of the exhibitions was in charge of Lousteauthe national deputies Martin bigtits and Danya Tavelaand the provincial legislator Pablo Domenichini.
“If there isn’t a big, strong radicalism in the province, with candidates willing to win everywherenational radicalism does not exist”, remarked the former Minister of Economy during the first months of the presidency of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner when drawing up a balance of the situation of the country and the Buenos Aires district.
In addition, the senator referred to the first national space meeting that will take place in Santa Feon March 12 and invited the radical leadership to participate in this conclave.
“He who asks where is evolution to come to Santa Fe on the 12th and see the block of 12 national deputies from eight provinces with gender parity in the most misogynistic party in Argentina”, Lousteu lashed out, and urged the militancy of that group to “compete” because “all leaderships are challengeable”.
“We are a space that is not afraid of going to elections, losing them or winning them. This is the place where you have the least fear. This is the province of Buenos Aires,” he stressed.
And he remarked: “If those who can be candidates, as they demonstrated in the last elections, do not want to be in the province of Buenos Aires, Evolución will have its candidates.”
“Recently there was a meeting in Santa Fe of legislators and a speaker, a national leader, said that the situation was very complicated in Argentina and the worst thing was that it could touch us. Imagine if (former president Raúl) Alfonsín had said that In this space (Evolution) when the going gets tough we say we want it to be our turn”, he pointed out.
