A total of 30 cartridges destined for rifles were seized from the Los Cáscaras criminal organization, according to military sources.
The procedure took place in the El Gallo sector, Andrés Bello municipality (Santa Isabel), Trujillo state, according to a preliminary report from the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Cones) 23.
At the site, the military seized 30 cartridges for 7.62x39mm caliber rifles, a tear gas device, a radio transmitter and telephone equipment, hidden in a bag belonging to José David Pimentel Montaña, alias El David, who was detained.
David is listed as a member of the criminal organization Los Cáscaras, dedicated to extortion, among other crimes. The subject will be criminally prosecuted for illegal possession of war material.
And in San Antonio del Táchira, Palotal sector, the military detained two members of the Los Parceros criminal group: Yorman Eduardo Duarte Fierro and Rafael Segundo Castellano.
These people seized a Pietro Beretta 9 mm pistol with its respective magazine, 18 9 mm caliber cartridges and a Bera BR-150 motorcycle plate AE6X89U.
Also in Zulia, the military confiscated war material. On this occasion, the procedure was carried out in the El Guayabo sector, Jesús Enrique Lossada municipality, where they seized a 9mm pistol, a pistol charger, ten 9mm cartridges and two telephone sets.
The material was in the possession of Emanuel Salvador Paz Moreno and Luis José Parra, members of the Nano criminal group who will be prosecuted for illegal possession of a firearm.
And in the La Manga sector, Francisco de Miranda municipality (Calabozo), Guárico, the military detained two members of the Los Araguatos criminal group, identified as Pablo José Hernández Torrealba and Wilfredo Ramon Hernández. These people were carrying two 12 and 16 gauge shotguns, ten cartridges, two knives and a motorcycle without a license plate, material that was confiscated, according to the report of Detachment 342 of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB).
