He also recognized the 17,500 people who work at the INE, both in the central offices and in the 32 local boards and 300 district boards in the country. He highlighted that 2,571 of these belong to the National Electoral Professional Service (SPEN).
The rest are part of the administrative branch, including 6,000 workers who serve citizens in the more than 9,000 modules.
Thanks to them, he mentioned, citizens have services such as registration in the Federal Register of Voters or the issuance of a voter card with photography.
