Lorena Ríos leaves this Tuesday for Spain to fulfill her dream

The last days of Lorena Ríos in our country before traveling to Spain were quite busy. After hearing the news that she could not participate in the Ibero-American Athletics Championship due to lack of financial resources, the high jump champion from Santa Cruz did not stop giving interviews and paused in her training until the local authorities supported her financially to buy her passage.

Finally, Lorena travels to Spain this Tuesday, so she trained double shift at the Olympic Village over the weekend. yesYour coach David Cortez was the bearer of the good news. On her side, the young 24-year-old athlete is happy and grateful because will fulfill a dream in his sports career, to participate in an international tournament with hundreds of registered athletes from various countries.

He also explained that his participation in other tournaments -national and abroad- is guaranteed because he has the economic resources thanks to all the donations received. Among them is the National Senior Championship (Cochabamba), Bolivarian Games and Odesur Games.

ANDGovernor Luis Fernando Camacho and Mayor Jhonny Fernánadez publicly gave him their contributions; in addition to the Mauricio Ballivián Foundation and of the good-hearted people who also contributed with their grain of sand with the purchase of whole-grain cakes and sticks.
