“In an act of revolutionary justice, General Lázaro Cárdenas handed over 491,649 hectares to the Yaquis; however, the presidential resolution was not executed in its entirety,” said the president.
“For this reason, today we restore 30,000 hectares to these peoples who, during the Porfiriato, suffered even extermination to dispossess them of their territories,” he added.
