President Andrés Manuel López Obrador promised yesterday that before concluding his administration, the salaries of teachers, health workers and members of the armed forces will be improved.

On the other hand, he celebrated that the dollar price was located this Friday at 19.36 pesos and insisted that inflation is a global phenomenon, precipitated by the war between Russia and Ukraine and the covid 19 pandemic; It is not something that emerged in Mexico, he clarified.

Likewise, he asked the Oxxo chain of stores to explain the reasons why the products they sell have risen a lot.

In his morning conference held in Tabasco, López Obrador said that next year there will be a lot of public investmentreason why he trusted that the growth of the economy will be maintained.

The large projects will be completed by 2023, added the president, who assured that in 2024 he will basically deal with maintaining social programs and improving the employment situation of workers in the service of the State.

Accompanied by the Secretaries of the Interior, Adán Augusto López, and of National Defense, Luis Cresencio Sandoval, the president acknowledged that there are teachers who do not earn the average salary of a worker enrolled in Social Security of 14,600 pesos.

He stressed that the increase in the salary of workers in the service of the State has not been equal to that registered in the minimum. So, before we finish, we are going to match up and that they receive their fair share..

Through his Twitter account, he highlighted in the afternoon that the greenback closed yesterday at 19.36. In half a century it had not been seen that the peso, instead of devaluing, appreciated to the point of being the most strengthened currency in relation to the dollarhe pointed out in reference to the fact that it has been revalued for the fourth consecutive day after the inflation report in the United States.

Regarding the journalistic reports that there will be a Christmas with the highest price growth in 22 years, the head of the federal Executive said that this is false.

He pointed out that inflation in Mexico is going down; it registers 7.7 percent, while in other countries such as Colombia, Chile and England it exceeds 10 percent.

López Obrador explained that his government is taking measures to limit the rise in prices, including subsidizing fuel and not increasing taxes.

He stressed that the media pretend not to know that inflation is a global phenomenon and attributed this to the fact that the government stopped giving them 40 billion pesos in advertising and for ideological reasons. He exemplified that the Letras Libres magazine and the Clio publishing house were given 370.8 million pesos between 2001 and 2018.

The head of the federal Executive also pointed out that it is important to clarify the issue of inflation, because if an environment of scarcity is generated, some merchandise distributors take advantage of it to increase prices.

In this sense, he explained that in Oxxo stores is where soft drinks and products rose the most. Scrap. I hope they explain why Coca Cola, goose and potatoes went up so much.
