Santo Domingo Norte.– The National Police denied this Thursday the versions circulating on social networks and some media about alleged looting at the branch of the furniture store L&R Comercialaffected by a fire in Villa Mella, Santo Domingo Norte municipality.
The institution reported that, after the incident was reported, police units, led by senior officers, immediately cordoned off the area with the aim of protecting lives and property, as well as facilitating the work of emergency agencies.
Likewise, he specified that there are no official reports of looting related to the fire in L&R Commercial and highlighted that the rapid intervention of the agents made it possible to prevent access by people other than the Fire Department and the support teams working in the area.
